Every year EA amazes us with some horrendous player ratings. Let’s take a look at some of the worst ratings this year on the defensive side of the ball.
1. Sauce Gardner, 89 Overall, 9th ranked CB
*screams into pillow* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! This actually makes me want to bleach my eyes. EA really just is hiring anyone for this aren’t they. Anyone who didn’t live under a rock last year knows Sauce is at minimum top 3 (personally I have him at CB 1). Having Sauce as the 9th corner legit made me laugh out loud, hey maybe EA is pranking us.
2. Von Miller, 94 Overall, Tied for 5th EDGE
Dude it is 2023. Von Miller hasn’t had a double digit sack season since 2018. TJ Watt and Von Miller both have the same rating. One is in the DPOY conversation when healthy the other is a 34 year old borderline pro bowler. Make it make sense.
3. Antoine Winfield Jr, 87 Overall, 13th ranked S
They must have so much face paint at EA headquarters so all these clowns can get ready for work. EA actually would make pretty good clowns cause they do make me laugh a lot. Winfield is a consensus top 3 safety; personally I think he is second only to Derwin. It’s beyond me how you put Winfield as the 13th best safety.
Honorable Mention - Jevon Holland, 84 Overall, 20th ranked S
