Every year EA amazes us with some horrendous player ratings. Let’s take a look at some of the worst ratings this year on the offensive side of the ball.
1. Amari Cooper, 91 Overall, 9th ranked WR
This is a catastrophe. Here are a few players rated lower than Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, DK Metcalf, and Jaylen Waddle. Like 5 years ago you could have pushed Amari top 10 narratives but not in 2023.
2. Dak Prescott, 87 Overall, 6th ranked QB
Someone should legit get fired for this. Dak is borderline top 10 not borderline top 5. I’m actually so confused by this, he threw for less than 3,000 yards and threw 15 INTs. How does that put you at the 6th best QB?
3. Dalvin Cook, 91 Overall, 6th ranked RB
Look he is at best an average RB. I get the base stats look good but the advanced stats are atrocious. As I’m writing this he is still a free agent. I promise if he was truly the 6th RB he would be getting a lot more attention. It's stuff like this that makes me think EA hires 10 year olds to make these ratings.
Honorable Mention - Patrick Mahomes, 98 Overall, 1st ranked QB
What more does Mahomes have to do to be a 99 overall?
